Afandou
village is a
seaside town at the eastern part of the Rhodes
Island. It was a pirates' village at the end of the 17th century. The
distance to the city of Rhodes is approximately 20
km. In spite of the size of the
village,
it has accomplished to keep the old village mark. In Afandou you can
swim in the gorgeous Afandou beach, a 3 Km long sandy beach with
crystal clear waters.

There are a lot of
places that you can enjoy yourself in Afandou. The local road train is
the main attraction in order to have a tour around the village and of
course to come to Argiro Village, the medieval church of Our Lady, the
famous 18-hole Golf court and a numerous variety of bars,
restaurants, and clubs to choose. |
